Intro
VIS was designed to extend the normal interface of Logic with 3D elements. This means that VIS and Logic should be used side by side and switching should be as seamless as possible. Currently, this is not possible when using the immersive space in VIS since the Mac Virtual Display will disappear. However, it is possible to enable this feature by activating the developer mode on your Apple Vision Pro. This guide shows you how you can do that to achieve the best possible user experience.
Prerequisites
- Apple Vision Pro with vision OS 26 or later
- A Mac with Xcode installed
- Both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network
Disclaimer
The steps described in this guide allow you to enable the Developer Mode on your Apple Vision Pro. This feature is intended for development and testing purposes. Activating Developer Mode may:
- Expose your device to additional security risks.
- Allow access to settings and features not designed for general consumer use.
Proceed at your own risk. Ensure you understand the implications before enabling Developer Mode.
