It is likely that either Bonjour or the Microsoft C++ Redistributable package that the Remote Control function utilizes needs to be uninstalled then reinstalled from either the latest MT 48 Toolkit, or alternatively the Merging Technologies MT Discovery utility.

To rectify, go to Windows Search > Add or Remove Programs.

Uninstall both Bonjour, and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (v14.29.30135).

You can then either download the latest MT 48 Toolkit from the Neumann MT 48 file finder page, run the MT 48 Toolkit Windows installer, and select the Repair option which will reinstall both components fresh; alternatively you can download and install MT Discovery from the Neumann File Finder, which will also reinstall these components.

After reinstalling, Remote Control should function properly.
