Stereo subwoofers are now supported official by the MA 1.
In this example, we describe how to set up a layout in MA 1 for using two KH750DSP subwoofers and analog KH310 monitors in Subwoofer Drive Mode "Stereo".
This example can also be applied equivalently to other Neumann analogue or DSP monitors.
Feed the left subwoofer with only the left signal and the right subwoofer only with the right signal.
At this same time, the subwoofers will only reproduce L and R. The left KH310 satellite speaker must then be connected to the subwoofer receiving the L signal, the right satellite speaker must be connected to the subwoofer that receives the R signal.
Then measure the setup with MA1 with two subwoofers (Sub 1 and Sub 2) and set it up as described in the described as following screenshots
In this procedure, the alignment parameters are created individually for each subwoofer.
Choose "Stereo with Bass Management" and Subwoofer Drive Mode "Stereo"
Connect the Subwoofers and Monitors as described in this screenshot
For analogue Monitore click + "Non-network-enabled loudspeaker connections" and choose for this example "KH310".
All settings for position and I/O connections can be configured as follows, depending on your audio interface
