If you notice that one (or more) KH monitors are not being seen in MA 1 during the studio monitor setup portion, please check the following:
- Ensure that device discovery is activated in your network. This functionality could be labelled MDNS, UPnP, IGMP or Bonjour.
- The computer that runs MA 1 needs to use the same network as your Neumann network enabled loudspeakers and subwoofers, using the network interface specified in MA 1.
- Make sure all network-enabled devices are connected to the same router or switch.
- Make sure all network enabled loudspeakers and subwoofers are switched on.
- Ensure the monitors are not in standby mode. If they are, play some audio to wake them up.
- Try power cycling the monitors and wait for 60 seconds before rescanning (4 minutes for AES67 monitors).
- Check if IPv6 is enabled at router and PC/MAC
- Perform a factory reset of the speakers.
To factory reset the KH 80:
Switch on the KH 80 DSP. While the logo is still red indicating boot up move the SETTINGS switch up and down repeatedly until a few seconds after it turns white.
To factory reset the KH 750 subwoofer:
Switch on the KH 750 DSP. While the power light is solid red during the boot up phase, move the AUTO STANDBY switch up and down repeatedly. The power light will then flash red while the default settings are being applied before reverting to green.
To factory reset the KH 120 II or KH 150:
Switch on the loudspeaker. While the logo is flashing during the boot up phase, move the CONTROL switch up and down repeatedly. Continue until the logo turns solid white for a few seconds. The logo begins quickly flashing red for a few seconds before turning white again.
