Sometimes, some windows updates can break features of software or drivers. In such an event, it is usually a good idea to try and uninstall the recently installed updates, and see if the issue persists.
Uninstall a specific Windows Update
Go in Windows Control Panel > Programs & Features and select View Installed Updates (left hand pane).
Browse the update list and Uninstall the required update.
Your computer may need to reboot.

Prevent a specific Windows Update to install
If Windows proposes you an update that you don’t want to install.
Download the "Show or hide updates" troubleshooter package from the Microsoft website.
Run the troubleshooter and click on 'Advanced' and make sure to check the box for "Apply repairs automatically."
Click Next, and then choose Hide updates.
Select the update you want to prevent from installing from the list provided and click Next.
Complete the troubleshooter steps, and the selected update should be hidden and will not be installed
COMPATIBLE WINDOWS VERSIONS
To find out which version of Windows your PC is running, press Windows logo key + R, type winver, then select OK.
To view the update history on : Start Menu > Windows Settings > Update & security> Windows Update. Click on the "Update history".
Please note if you’re using third-party software, plugins and/or hardware, you should check the respective manufacturer’s information for their compatibility.
Your OS version can be found in Windows Settings > System > About.
All Windows version mentioned are Pro Editions, and 64 bits, Windows 32 bits versions are no longer supported.
This list will only list the problematic updates. Known to break features of Pyramix/Ovation or the MassCore engine.
