When starting your Networked Audio Interface, Hapi, Anubis or MT48, it gets stuck on the "Loading config" step or crashes at the end of the boot sequence.
The actual configuration might be corrupted or not compatible with the firmware if you did a firmware upgrade.
The configuration needs to be reset to Ex-factory.
- ANUBIS Ex-factory reset
- Neumann MT 48 Ex-factory reset
- Hapi MKII - MKIII Ex-factory reset
- Horus - Hapi MKI Ex-factory reset (legacy)
ANUBIS Ex-factory reset
- Shutdown the ANUBIS
- Press & Hold the Anubis MUTE button and TALK Button simultaneously
- Power up the Anubis while holding those two buttons pressed until Anubis powers up completely.
This will reset the Anubis to Ex-Factory while keeping your Mission Presets or Snapshots and licenses.
Legacy: Firmware 1.2.6 and prior
Open the Anubis Maintenance Page (Google Chrome recommended)
Download and update the file below as if it was a firmware update.
Anubis factory Reset update

Neumann MT 48 Ex-factory reset
- Shutdown the MT 48
- Press & Hold the MT 48 MUTE button and TALK Button simultaneously
- Power up the MT 48 while holding those two buttons pressed until the device powers up completely.
This will reset the MT 48 to Ex-Factory while keeping your Mission Presets or Snapshots and licenses.
Hapi MKII - MKIII Ex-factory reset.
Shutdown your Hapi by pressing and holding the triangle power button.
Press and hold the rotary controller on the front panel button, and press on the triangle button to start the unit in Maintenance Mode.
Once the maintenance mode is ready, please update your device through your web browser with this special firmware :

Horus - Hapi MKI Ex-factory reset (legacy)
Shutdown your Horus / Hapi by pressing and holding the triangle power button.
Press the power button while also pressing and holding the small triangle button to start in Maintenance Mode.
Once the maintenance mode is ready, please update your device through your web browser with this special firmware :
