Merging License Activation

MT48/Anubis missions and plugins licensing

Sennheiser Cloud licenses (Zentitle)

Format: Numbers only, example: 533312345678987654

This procedure is also used when activating Legacy Merging Cloud licenses with format: "ABCD0R0Z00ABCDEF8GH7654ABC" or "ABCD0-R0Z00-ABCDE-F8GH7-654AB-C"

1. Connect your MERGING ANUBIS to your system

2. Open one of Merging’s applications: MAD, VAD, ANEMAN or MTDiscovery

3. Right click on the discovered Anubis icon and select Launch License Manager 

4. This will open the Merging License Manager from which you can enter the activation key of the Product feature you wish to activate

5. Enter the license key code you have received for the Product Feature
   The licenses can have two different formats:

   - 533301234567890123 (starts with 5333)
   -XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-X (can be with or without the dashes)
    Enter the license code in the activation field and press the Activate entry line

6. This will activate the Product Feature and make it available on that specific Anubis.
   A License is valid message will be displayed

Note: A given activation key code can only be activated on one Anubis/MT48 at the time
You can Release a License to activate this one onto another Anubis device at any time

Windows activation

Activate any software License (Pyramix, Ovation, MAD)

1. Start the Merging License Manager Application, through Windows Start Menu > Merging Technologies
   Alternatively, you can also use Windows search by entering Merging License Manager

2. Enter the key code you have received for the required product, Pyramix, Ovation and/or MassCore
   It should look as such 5333xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (numbers only - example: 533312345678987654)
   Enter this code in the activation field and press the Activate entry line

3. This will activate the Product Feature and make it available on that specific computer
   A License is valid message will be displayed

4. Note: A given activation key code can only be activated on one computer at the time
   You can Release a License to activate this one onto another computer device at any time

Install MassCore Runtime with Merging License Manager keys

Step 1: Activate the Extension Key in MLM

1. Open the Merging License Manager (MLM)

2. Navigate to “Activate License”

3. Enter the Sennheiser extension key (ID 5333) in the "MassCore" field

4. Confirm activation.

5. Verify that the extension key appears as active in the MLM interface

Step 2: Activate the MassCore License via MT Security

1. Open MT Security

2. Select “Activate License”

3. Choose the Pyramix 15 MassCore license

4. Select your preferred activation method:

   • Cloud License – requires an active internet connection

   • Dongle License – requires inserting the hardware dongle

5. Complete the activation and verify that the license status is active

Legacy activation methods (Dongle, Cloud Keys)

Dongle and Cloud licensing is unavailable from Pyramix 16  / Ovation 12 onwards
Users on the latest Pyramix versions should use the first listed methods and activate their licenses through Merging License Manager

Cloud format: Numbers and letters, with or without dashes, example: ABCD0R0Z00ABCDEF8GH7654ABC or ABCD0-R0Z00-ABCDE-F8GH7-654AB-C

Dongle format : "50000" with 4 different numbers, example : 500009876

Activating a cloud license

1. Open the Merging Technologies Security control panel (Start Menu > Merging Technologies > MT Security Settings)

2. Go to the Cloud Licensing tab

3. Select ‘Pyramix/Ovation/VCube’ in the Products drop down menu

4. Click the License Wizard button

5. Click on Activate your license

6. Enter your activation key that you obtained in step 1)

Activating a Dongle license

1. Simply double-click on the .mtk file you obtained, and follow the instructions

2. Open the MT Security Settings (Start > Merging Technologies > MT Security Settings) control panel and load the .mtk file with the 'Import Key' button

Note: if the Validity column does not show ‘Permanent’ next to some options after import, please double check that the license/keys you are entering correspond to the version installed on the system

For macOS (VAD)

Sennheiser Cloud licenses (Zentitle)

Format: Numbers only, example: 533312345678987654 / ABCD0-R0Z00-ABCDE-F8GH7-654AB-C

Do not launch the mlmApp from the Applications > Merging Technologies > MLM folder

It is mandatory for MT VAD to use a network adapter with a valid IP address to display the icon

1. Open the MT VAD PREFERENCES application

2. Right click on the discovered SYSTEM icon and select Launch License Manager

3. This will open the Merging License Manager from which you can enter the VAD key you wish to activate

4. Select the Sennheiser Licensing or Merging Licensing tab, depending on your license code
   Tab Sennheiser is for license codes starting with serials 5333

   Tab Merging is for any licenses not starting with serials 5333

5. Enter this code in the activation field and press the Activate entry line

6. This will activate the Product Feature and make it available on that specific Mac computer
   A License is valid message will be displayed

Release any License

1. Start the Merging License Manager Application, through : 

   • Windows : Windows Start Menu > Merging Technologies
     Alternatively, you can also use Windows search by entering Merging License Manager

   • macOS : Open MT VAD Preferences > Right click the system's icon > Launch License Manager

2. Simply press the Release License button for the License you want to release

3. The license has been released and can now be activated on another device
